Another early start as we had 10am tickets to Liberty and Ellis Island. Not the most pleasant morning - its still snowing, but nothing is sticking to the ground so it's just cold and wet more than anything. We braved the subway again to get down to Battery Park.
Had a stroll around Castle Clinton
before heading for the boat.

We then jumped the ferry to Ellis Island - It was nice to spend some time inside. And the history is so interesting we spent quite a bit of time there.

We caught the ferry back to Manhattan and went looking for lunch - instead we found a bull - he's not where I expected - he's not a Wall street but in the middle of broadway instead.
We stopped at the first place we could find for a warm lunch - TGIF. The headed for the 9/11 memorial.
The westfield across the road was a funky building!.
We then browsed the Century 21 department store for a while before headed home. Dinner at a Chinese place tonight.
Day 6 - I had to be back at the train station at 8:30am for my train home. Left the hotel room at 7 for a leisurely stroll back through the city to Penn station and then an easy train trip home. It was fun watching the snow pack increasing as we got closer to home - and a beautiful trip along the shore covered in snow.
