New York 2018 - Day 2 Central Park and the Theatre

We started Day 2 in New York with a search for an Australian Coffee and Tea Store Bluestone Lane, then headed towards Central Park.

It's already Spring in Central Park - there were flowers coming out.

We found Strawberry Fields.

Then wandered the paths.

Geeze if you can't trust your best friend not to push you in who can you trust?

We crossed over the Bow Bridge

Then headed around to the Boat House

Some horsing around

Bethesda Terrace

The Alice in Wonderland sculpture

Then the Belvedere Castle.

 A great place for twirling.

A beautiful view over the Turtle Pond.

Trying out the panorama function on my camera.

View looking back at the castle.

We headed out of the park down 6th Avenue - looking for lunch, but instead found the American Doll store.

We walked in for a look and quickly walked back out again - not our sort of place.

We ended up at the Rockefeller Plaza.

Where we found a food court with a great view for lunch.

Had a quiet afternoon before getting ready for our big night out.  We had tickets to see Hello Dolly on Broadway.  We got ourselves all dolled up.

And headed out to the Schubert Theatre.

Pretty good seats.

After the show we headed out for a few cocktails.
