Australia 2017 - Day 19, 20 and 21

Friday - Melanie has been organising an activity with the local council encouraging kids to read.  The culmination of this was going to take place today with the hatching of an egg that they had all been reading to.  Lexie Josh and I were going to tag along to make sure there was someone at the event - and Mel let Eddie take the day off school to join us.

We started with all the activity stations set up.

Then got to watch at the egg was hatched - so much fun. Turned out to be a pelican inside.

Saturday we spent up the pub catching up with all my friends.
Then Sunday was a gathering of some of the Hunter family.

Then it was time to start saying goodbye.

For our final dinner was went all out and did a chocolate fondue for dessert -- of yummo.

Monday morning was nice and clear so we managed to get one last lot of trains in.  In our Pajamas

Showing off their engines

Turning everything off after the last train

And then it was time to head for the airport and go home.
