Thanksgiving Day. I did some investigating yesterday and it turns out that both the field museum and the aquarium re open today so we took a quick vote and headed for the Shedd aquarium.
\It was a great day - tons to see and do. The best bit of course was the aquatic show.
We got to watch the dolphins perform.
Then the penguins did a bit of a performance.
And then the belugas (but we didn't get any photos of them).
Josh and Andy had fun at all the touch tanks.
We had to check out of the hotel by 4pm so we stored our bags at the hotel Quick and tried to find somewhere for Thanksgiving lunch/dinner. After a few false starts (seriously a 1.5 hour wait at 4pm in the afternoon) we ended up at Harry Careys. A lot fancier than we had planned but Oh well its thanksgiving.
The we had to pick up our bag and head back to the train station. Train was late leaving again so it was almost 11 by the time we got on board and settled down into out bunks heading home.
