Week 3 - Canberra

Got back from our trip Sunday afternoon to find Kate waiting for us.  Overnight at grandma and Grandpas before heading off to Canberra with her.

Day 1 - Grand Pacific Drive to Wollongong.

Then a stop at the Big Merino

Day 2 - in Canberra - checked out the Carillion on Lake Burley Griffin. Even got to hear it play.

Met a few very friendly black swans.

 walked around Lake Burley Griffin.

 Found a cool playground.

 Then headed for the Movie theatre at Manuka to see the Minion Movie.

Day 3 - went to the War Memorial and the Mint.

Day 4 - Hung  out at Kates Apartment watching Gilmore Girls.

Day 5 - Headed out to Canberra Zoo.  Saw wombats.

 Tree Kangaroos.

Kangaroos.



 Lions.

 Koalas

 Penguins

 And lots more.  Then headed for the Aboretum which was next door.  It had a very cool "Pod" playground.
