Week 2 - Driving Trip to Hastings Point

Day 1  - Drove from Sydney to Murrurundi.  Stopped at Windsor for Morning Tea

Then at Bulga for Lunch.

Found a great Playground at Murrurundi.

 First Motel.

Day 2 - Drove from Murrurundi to Glen Innes.  Morning tea at the Big Golden Guitar at Tamworth.

 lunch was at Woolbrook.

A quick stop at Thunderbolts rock for some rock hopping.

Checked into our Cabins at Glen Innes thenwent to find a park and a supermarket.

 Dinner back in the cabin.

 Day 3 - Grandma's Birthday.

Checked out the standing stones at Glen Innes

Then back on the road.  Morning Tea at Drake.

Finally reached our holiday house at Hastings Point.

Headed to the local Mexican restaurant for Dinner for Grandmas Birthday.

Day 4 - Nicks Birthday. Opened up his presents in the morning.

Breakfast

Then headed for the beach.  Walked the entire length of Cudgera Beach to Cabarita Headland.

Walked up to the top of the headland where we were lucky enough to see Whales and Dolphins.

Headed down to check out Cabarita Beach.

Then back along the beach to Hastings Point.

The kids found the tyre swing in the back yard.

And had some fun playing ball in the front yard.

Walked across the bridge over Cudgera Creek to the centre of Hastings Point.  Found the playground.

Checked out Cudgera Creek.

Climbed a few trees.

Out to dinner again for Nicks Birthday this time. Then home for icecream cake.

Day 5 - went for a swim today.  Mel, Nick and Ernie and Dad headed to the creek first.

Before meeting the rest of us at the beach.

In the afternoon drove down to Pottsville where Mum and Dad went on their honeymoon.

Dinner at home.

Day 6 - Headed up to the gold coast to do a boat tour of the Canals.

Then to the Putt Putt golf course.

Headed back to the house for a sunset dip at the beach.

Day 7 - Back up to the gold coast to visit Movie world.

Day 8 - A family Photo before heading Back to Sydney.

Stopped for morning tea at Ballina.

Past the big Prawn

And a bunch of sugar cane.

Lunch at Maclean by the river.

Afternoon tea was a chocolate coated banana at the Big Banana.

Overnight at Kempsey.  Were hoping to see kangaroos, but the closest we got was heading out the next morning in the distance.

Day 9  - Morning tea at Nabiac.

Possum crossings over the road.

Lunch at Raymond Terrace.

Had a great climbing tree in the park.
