Since Breakfast wasn't provided at the Hotel Le Concorde we decided to find something nearby. Unfortunately there wasn't a lot. We ended up at a restaurant next door called Cosmos. which was nice but nothing exciting.
We then checked out of the hotel and hit the road heading south on the 40. Had a few issues with the GPS finding our hotel, but thankfully I was on hand to navigate instead. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Montreal Ouest which was very nice. Got a great big corner room.
Headed straight for the pool
Since we skipped lunch we headed out for an early dinner. We walked up to Rue St Catherine and found the burger bar which looked good. Lexie had Poutine again. i think she ate poutine for every meal whilst we were in Canada!
Day 5 - Montreal - Latham NY
This morning we wanted to Explore Montreal. We headed out of the hotel and back up to Rue St Catherine where we found a cute little Diner called Mr Steer for breakfast. Had fun watching some Icelandic 4WD demolition derby type event whilst we ate before heading back out onto the streets.
We walked the length of Rue St Catherine - stopping only for souvenier stores for Lexie to pick up a pin, then crossed down St Urbaine street into the Old Town. We headed back along St Paul Street then Notre Dame Street through the old town, then back towards the hotel. It was time to get back on the road.
We headed south out of town on the 15 for the border at Champlain. At lot more people at this border crossing and it took probably an hour or so to get through.
Then straight down I87 to just outside Albany where we stopped for the night at The Holiday Inn Latham.
A quick dip in the pool, dinner at the Local Applebees - we tried to get into a local brewery but it was all packed out. Then home to bed.
Day 6 - Latham NY - Home
Straight down the I90 to home
